I have been in this industry for 2 years and still currently serving in this industry.

Burger King

Currently, I am working in Burger King as a part-time crew member and am expected to be promoted to Part-time Manager in the next few months.

My job scope:

- Preparing of burgers and the packaging of food.

- Answer customers enquiries and solve any dispute at that instant.

​

Skills required:

- To solve those disputes, I had to quickly generate answers and solutions that will satisfy the customer's needs while still keeping in mind the company's reputation.

-Good communication skills

- Patience and responsibility

- Able to work at a fast pace especially during peak hours (e.g. Lunch)

I have yet to receive a complaint from a customer from the start of my journey. I am deemed as the reliable one by the manager.  

NTUC Fairprice

I worked in NTUC during the Christmas and Chinese New Year period. It was very packed and fast-paced. However, I was able to work under those conditions.

- Handle customers and cashier

-Assigned extra tasks during my work there like taking orders during Christmas since I was

​

Skills required:

-Good communication skills

-Patience and responsibility

-Able to work at a fast pace especially during peak hours (e.g. after working hours) 

 

The majority of shoppers were satisfied with my service. The staff there even offered me to continue working there. Unfortunately, my new education journey was beginning.
